The short answer
Most Amazon sellers spend 10 or more hours a week on jobs a tool can now do for them: changing prices, adjusting ad bids, checking stock, chasing reviews and building reports. The good news for 2026 is that the cheapest place to start is free. Amazon’s own Seller Assistant can now run workflows around the clock, and its new plugin lets you manage your store from Claude.
But “automation” means five different jobs, and no single tool is best at all of them. So instead of one long ranking, this guide picks the best tool for each job, gives you the real starting price as of November 2026, and shows how much time each one actually saves.
One honest note: most “best Amazon automation tools” lists are written by companies that sell one of the tools. We don’t sell any of these. Some links may be affiliate links, which never change our picks.

What changed in 2026: Amazon now automates for free
The biggest shift this year came from Amazon itself, and the older lists ranking for this keyword miss it. At its Accelerate conference on September 23, 2026, Amazon gave Seller Assistant three upgrades that change what you need to pay for (Amazon’s announcement):
- Workflows that run 24/7. You describe a task in plain English, set limits, and it keeps running after you log out. Example: “Alert me if any of my top 10 products drop below 4 stars and draft a response plan.” Prebuilt templates cover account health, order summaries, pricing trends and expansion ideas.
- You stay in control. For each workflow you choose whether it only recommends or also acts. Actions wait for your approval and every step is logged.
- Memory. It now remembers your pricing patterns, stock cycles and goals, so suggestions get more specific over time.
Amazon also launched a Selling Partner plugin that brings Seller Assistant into outside AI tools. It is live in Amazon Quick and in beta with Anthropic’s Claude for US sellers, and Amazon says it connects in about 60 seconds with no code. Primary account holders can also claim 12 months of Amazon Quick Plus free until December 31, 2026.
What this means for you: before paying for any tool on this list, set up two or three free Seller Assistant workflows. If they cover your restock alerts and basic pricing, you may only need one paid tool for the job Amazon does not do well yet (usually PPC or profit tracking). If you already pay for Claude, our Claude Pro review covers whether the paid plan is worth it for daily business work.
Limits to know: the plugin is still beta and US-only, workflows only see your Amazon data (not your Shopify store or supplier sheets unless you use Quick or Claude), and Amazon’s tools will not push back on Amazon’s own fees the way an independent profit tool will.
The 12 best Amazon automation tools, by job
1. Amazon Seller Assistant: best free starting point
Automates: stock alerts, restock plans, price checks, account health monitoring, order summaries. Price: free inside Seller Central.
Seller Assistant used to answer questions. Now it can watch your account and act with your approval. Amazon says it reached over 90% of selling partners and that sellers accept its suggestions more than 90% of the time. Pair it with Amazon’s free Automate Pricing rules and the Amazon Seller app and a new seller can run for months without paying for software.
- Good: free, uses your real first-party data, nothing to connect, full audit trail.
- Not so good: Amazon-only view, newer workflow features are still rolling out, no independent profit math.
- Verdict: turn it on first, then pay only to fill the gaps.
2. Selling Partner plugin for Claude or Amazon Quick: best for AI power users
Automates: pulling sales, stock and listing data into an AI chat, then acting on it. Price: free beta for US sellers; you need a Claude plan or Amazon Quick (Quick Plus is free for 12 months until Dec 31, 2026).
If you already plan your week in an AI assistant, this removes the copy and paste. You can ask “which ASINs will run out before Black Friday?” next to your supplier sheet and accounting data. Before this plugin, building the same setup meant API keys and custom code, which is exactly the DIY route the Jarvio article warns about. Not sure which assistant to use? See our Claude vs Gemini comparison and best ChatGPT alternatives.
- Good: 60-second setup, works with the AI you already use, human approval on every action.
- Not so good: beta, US only, still needs you to ask (use Seller Assistant workflows for always-on tasks).
3. Helium 10: best all-in-one suite
Automates: PPC bids and keyword harvesting (Adtomic), review requests (Follow-Up), listing alerts, inventory tracking. Price: free plan; Platinum $129/mo or $99/mo billed yearly; Diamond $359/mo or $279/mo yearly. The $39 Starter plan was removed in April 2026 (2026 pricing breakdown).
Helium 10 is the broadest toolset for private label sellers: keyword research, listing builder, PPC and alerts in one login. The automation is real but assisted. Adtomic suggests and applies bid rules, but you still set the strategy.
- Good: huge keyword database, one subscription instead of four.
- Not so good: price went up about 25 to 30% this year, and many features sit behind Diamond.
- Verdict: worth it if you would otherwise buy separate research, PPC and alert tools.
4. Jungle Scout: best for new sellers
Automates: review requests, sales estimates, keyword tracking, inventory forecasts. Price: Starter $49/mo ($29/mo yearly), Growth Accelerator $79/mo ($49 yearly), Brand Owner $199/mo ($129 yearly); 7-day money-back guarantee (Jungle Scout pricing).
Jungle Scout’s guided product research is still the friendliest for beginners, and its Review Automation sends Amazon’s “Request a Review” for every eligible order. It costs less than Helium 10 at the entry level but has a thinner PPC side.
5. Sellerboard: best for profit tracking
Automates: true net profit after fees, refunds and ad spend, daily profit emails, lost-inventory refund claims, review request emails. Price: Standard $19, Professional $29, Business $39, Enterprise $79 per month; cheaper on 6-month or yearly billing; 1-month free trial (Sellerboard plans).
This is the tool that saves the most spreadsheet time per dollar. Instead of rebuilding a profit sheet every month, you get the number every morning.
- Good: cheap, accurate, finds FBA reimbursements you would miss.
- Not so good: financial view only; no research or bid automation.
6. Seller Snap: best repricer
Automates: price changes to win the Buy Box without racing to the bottom. Price: from $250/mo for up to 1,000 SKUs; 15-day free trial, no card (Seller Snap).
Seller Snap uses game theory to predict how competitors will react, instead of simple “beat by 1 cent” rules. It makes sense for wholesale and arbitrage sellers who share listings. If you are private label with no competing sellers on your ASINs, skip it and use Amazon’s free Automate Pricing.
7. Teikametrics: best PPC automation for small brands
Automates: bids, budgets and keyword targeting tied to your stock and profit. Price: free Basic plan for testing; Essentials about $179/mo; custom pricing with a 3% fee above $10,000/mo in ad spend (Teikametrics pricing check).
Its best trick is linking ads to inventory, so it slows spend on products about to run out. Also covers Walmart.
8. Perpetua: best PPC automation at scale
Automates: goal-based bidding (set a target ACOS or ROAS), keyword harvesting, Sponsored Ads and Amazon DSP. Price: listed from about $695/mo (GetApp).
Powerful, but priced for brands spending $10K or more a month on ads. Under that, Teikametrics or Helium 10 Adtomic gives better value.
9. FeedbackWhiz: best for reviews and feedback
Automates: clicking “Request a Review” on every order, custom buyer messages, alerts for negative reviews. Price: free plan; product review monitoring from $5/mo for 5 products (FeedbackWhiz).
Amazon now limits what buyer emails can say, so the gap with the free manual button is smaller than it was. The value is that it happens on every order without you.
10. SoStocked: best inventory forecasting
Automates: reorder alerts, 12-month demand forecasts, restock sizes that respect Amazon’s capacity limits and low-inventory fees. Price: scales with monthly orders; trial and demo available (SoStocked). Lighter option: RestockPro from $49/mo with a 21-day trial.
Worth it once stockouts or storage fees are costing you more than the subscription.
11. Zapier, Make or n8n: best for connecting your other tools
Automates: sending Amazon data from one of the tools above into Google Sheets, Slack, email or your CRM. Price: Zapier free (100 tasks), Professional $19.99/mo yearly or $29.99 monthly for 750 tasks (Zapier pricing 2026); Make Core from $9/mo; n8n Cloud from about EUR 20/mo or free self-hosted.
None of these connect deeply to Seller Central on their own. Use them downstream: Sellerboard exports profit, Zapier posts it to Slack. Make and n8n get much cheaper at volume. More options in our best AI productivity tools guide.
12. Jarvio: best done-for-you AI agent
Automates: reporting, PPC changes, listing updates, stock alerts and team tasks in ClickUp, Slack or Sheets, all from a chat. Price: credit based; 500 free credits and a 14-day trial (Jarvio).
Jarvio is a full Amazon AI agent with a visual workflow builder. It is the most complete option here, but credit pricing means busy workflows burn credits fast. Read how not to waste your AI agent credits before you scale it, and compare it with general agents in our top 10 AI agents list. Now that Amazon’s own plugin brings Seller Assistant into Claude for free, test that first.
How much time each job saves
These are our estimates for a seller with 20 to 50 SKUs doing each task by hand, not vendor claims. Your numbers will depend on catalog size and how often you check things now.
| Task | Manual time per week | Tool that replaces it | Time after automating |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ad bid and keyword changes | 3 to 5 hours | Teikametrics, Helium 10 Adtomic, Perpetua | 30 to 60 min review |
| Profit and sales reports | 2 to 3 hours | Sellerboard, Seller Assistant summaries | 15 min reading |
| Price checks and changes | 2 to 4 hours | Seller Snap, Amazon Automate Pricing | Near zero |
| Stock checks and restock planning | 1 to 2 hours | Seller Assistant workflows, SoStocked | 15 min approving |
| Review requests | 1 to 2 hours | FeedbackWhiz, Jungle Scout, Helium 10 | Zero |
| Moving data to Sheets or Slack | 1 hour | Zapier, Make, n8n | Zero |
| Total | 10 to 17 hours | About 1 to 2 hours |
Ready-made stacks by budget
$0 a month (new sellers): Seller Assistant workflows + Amazon Automate Pricing + the free “Request a Review” button + the free Helium 10 or FeedbackWhiz plan. Add the Claude plugin if you already pay for Claude.
Under $100 a month (first $10K to $50K in monthly sales): the free stack above + Sellerboard ($19 to $39) + Jungle Scout Starter ($29 yearly) or Zapier Professional ($19.99 yearly) for reports to Slack or Sheets.
$300 to $600 a month (scaling brand): Helium 10 Platinum ($99 yearly) or Teikametrics Essentials (about $179) for PPC + Sellerboard + SoStocked or RestockPro for inventory. Add Seller Snap ($250) only if you share listings with other sellers.
$1,000+ a month (big ad budget): Perpetua for PPC and DSP, Sellerboard or SoStocked for profit and stock, and Jarvio or Seller Assistant workflows to tie it all together.
How to choose: four questions
- Which job eats most of your week? Automate that one first. One tool fully used beats five half set up.
- Does it connect through Amazon’s official login? Good tools use Amazon’s Selling Partner API sign-in. Never give a tool your Seller Central password or 2-step codes.
- How is it priced? Flat fees are predictable. A percentage of ad spend is fine at $5,000 a month and painful at $50,000.
- Can you approve changes before they go live? For prices and bids, pick tools that let you review first, at least for the first month.
Mistakes that waste money
- Paying for what Amazon now gives free. Check Seller Assistant workflows before buying a basic alert or restock tool.
- Bad inputs. Wrong product costs or supplier lead times make every automated price and restock decision wrong, around the clock.
- Tweaking AI bidding every day. Set clear targets and give PPC tools two to three weeks before judging them.
- Letting AI act with no limits. Set a minimum price, a maximum bid and approval steps. Our guide to using AI responsibly covers the basics.
- Stacking overlapping tools. Helium 10, Jungle Scout and Sellerboard all send review requests. Turn it on in one only.
FAQ
What is the best Amazon automation tool in 2026? There is no single winner. Start with Amazon’s free Seller Assistant workflows, then add one paid tool for your biggest job: Sellerboard for profit, Teikametrics or Helium 10 for PPC, Seller Snap for repricing.
Is Amazon Seller Assistant really free? Yes. It is built into Seller Central at no extra cost, including the new 24/7 workflows. The Claude plugin is free in beta, but you need your own Claude plan.
Can I connect Claude or ChatGPT to my Amazon store? Claude, yes: Amazon’s Selling Partner plugin is in beta for US sellers and connects in about a minute. Amazon says more AI tools will follow. Other assistants still need a third-party tool or manual exports.
Is Amazon automation allowed? Yes, if the tool connects through Amazon’s official Selling Partner API and follows Amazon’s rules on buyer messages. Avoid tools that ask for your password or offer incentives for reviews.
How much time can automation save? Our estimate for a 20 to 50 SKU seller is 10 to 17 hours a week down to 1 or 2, mostly from PPC, reporting and pricing.
Is Zapier good for Amazon? Only as glue. It has no deep Seller Central connection, so use it to move data from an Amazon tool into Sheets, Slack or email.
Our verdict
In 2026 the smartest stack is smaller than it used to be. Let Amazon’s free Seller Assistant handle alerts, restocks and routine pricing, and pay only for the job it does not cover well: profit tracking (Sellerboard), PPC (Teikametrics, Helium 10 or Perpetua) or repricing (Seller Snap). Review what each tool changed after two weeks, and cancel anything you are not using.
